Announcement BRM 300 km Sveta Nedjelja 2015 (Una valley – for the first time)

Dear ladies and gentlemen, you are invited to participate in the brevet marathon. You can ride, for the first time, from Croatia to, at least in the short, federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and back. Start and finish of the ride will be in Sveta Nedelja, Ulica Marijana Stilinovića, front of the cafe Zeppelin. The start is scheduled for 06:00 at Saturday, May 2nd. The finish line will be open until 02:00 at Sunday, May 3rd.

The route lead at the roads of Turopolje and Banija to the Hrvatska Kostajnica where you will cross Una river and get Bosanska Kostajnica. Following the river on the right bank should reach Kozarska Dubica, and then, driving in the opposite direction, arrive to Novi Grad. You will ride, after the short rest, across river Una again, to the Croatia. First, in the Dvor, reach Glina over Zrinska Gora hill, Pokupsko, Jamnička Kiselica … and you’re almost at the finish in Sveta Nedelja.

The trail is 309 km long and vertical profile is not demanding. Only 1600 meters of vertical climb.

With the proper bike, helmet, equipment for night driving (use it in case of poor visibility), identity card or passport are obliged luggage due to border crossing. Both checkpoints are in Bosnia. For coffee, brandy, burek and kebabs you will need some convertible marks. The marathon will be driving in all weather conditions.

Applications

Entry fee is 90 HRK. You can order medal for another 70 HRK after successful completion ride. Register and / or you can unsubscribe until April 30th at midnight. Please include your full name, year of birth, mailing address, email address and mobile number to be used during the certification. Sign in, please, (here) sibabic (at) gmail (dot) com.

To comfortably taken travel documentation you can arrive on the start place to 30 minutes earlier before beginning.
