Invitation to the BRM 400 km Sveta Nedelja

Dear all,

once again we are offered to you try hard brevet in a good company where you will, among other things, enjoy the Croatian mountain and coastal landscapes.

As can be seen on the map, we will be ride from Sv. Nedelja to Karlovac and Duga Resa and after that near Mrežnica River to Josipdol.

After crossing the pass that divides Mala and Velika Kapela mountains, you will be able to ride at roads of Lika region to Žuta Lokva and Otočac where will be the first checkpoint.

From the river Gacka valley you can’t go anywhere by downhill but just uphill. Once you defeat the two long uphill you will be able to explore the northern Adriatic islands from the Oltari pass.

After control in Sv. Juraj follows almost a 30 km drive along the sea coast of the road that is constantly ascending or descending.

In Novi Vinodolski, you will be welcomed with the Adriatic highway and will again win a long climb in the direction of Lukovo, Lič and Fužine. That will be 30 km of wilderness.

After the third checkpoint in Delnice you will drive towards the goal more, less all night. Hence the front and rear lights and reflective waistcoats with the right bicycle and the helmet the obligatory part of the equipment.

Start of brevet will be on Saturday 13 May, at 6:00 pm from A. Starčević Square in Sv. Nedelja. The deadline for arrival at the starting point with certified travel cards is 9:00 am on Sunday, May 14th.

Application

Entry fee is 100 kn. For all official finishers there will be available for order commemorative medal at the price of 70 kn. You can submit your application until May 11th at midnight. In your application include your first and last name, postal address and email address, year of birth and cell phone number you intend to use during the brevet.
